Eligible voters can enrol till poll notification

GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy has said eligible voters can enroll and apply for name correction in the electoral rolls till the GHMC election notification was issued. He further stated that the ward-wise voters list has already been announced and the BC voters list too has been displayed in the Circle Offices.

Those, who want to enrol as voters or for any other query, can contact their Deputy Commissioner concerned before December 2. The final list of the BC voters list will be released on December 8.

There are 150 wards in GHMC limits for which Returning and Assistant Returning Officers have already been appointed and training classes also have been conducted in their respective zones.

He further stated the Returning Officers have to inspect their respective polling stations after that the final notice will be published. The details of electoral rolls are already kept on the GHMC website and the ward-wise details will be available on the website within 10 days, he informed.
