Nizamabad: The district Congress leaders have paid rich tributes to social reformer Mahatma Jyotirao Phule on his 126th death anniversary at the District Congress Committee office here on Saturday.On the occasion, MLC Aakula Lalitha, Urban constituency In-charge Mahesh Kumar Goud, DCC President Taher-Bin-Hamdan, City Congress President Kesha Venu, Meesala Sudhakar and others garlanded Phule’s picture.
MLC Aakula Lalitha said that Jyotirao Phule fought for the development of downtrodden communities, backward classes and social justice. Mahesh Kumar Goud said that Phule was a symbol of social justice.
