Karimnagar: Transco officials disconnected power supply to Sircilla Mzunicipality on Saturday as the officials did not clear the pending bills worth Rs 1.1 crore for the last ten months.
Transco officials disconnected the power supply to the Municipality from 11 am and continued up to 2 pm. Power supply was restored after the municipal officials assured them that the outstanding bills would be paid by Monday. Municipal Commissioner Suman Rao refused to comment on the issue.
