ASHA workers lay siege to MPDO office

Nalgonda: ASHA workers, who have been on strike for the past 90 days, laid siege to the MPDO Office at Nadigudem in the district on Monday demanding the State government accept their genuine demands. They raised slogans against the government for being insensitive to their strike.

Addressing the demonstrators, CPM leader B Satyanarayana said that the agitation of ASHA workers will continue until the government accepts their genuine demands. He strongly criticised the TRS government for claiming that the issue of ASHA workers would come under purview of the Centre.
