The district Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), Venkata Chary, directed the officials to make arrangements for holding elections to seven Gram Panchayats in the division.
Nalgonda: The district Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), Venkata Chary, directed the officials to make arrangements for holding elections to seven Gram Panchayats in the division. A training programme was conducted for Polling Officers (POs) and Assistant Polling Officer (APOs) in Uday Aditya Bhavan here on Monday.
Speaking at the programme, the RDO reminded that the State Election Commission has released notification for elections to seven gram panchayats in the district.
Reminding that polling would be conducted on December 5 for elections to Nakrekal, Kadaparthy, Nomula, Nellibanda, Chandupatla, Thaikal and Chandupatla gram panchayats, he said polling will be conducted from 7 am to 1 pm on the day.
In addition to these, elections would be conducted for eight wards in Dugunelli, two wards in Kethepally and nine wards in Akaram gram panchayats, he added.
