Hyderabad: Yuva Kalavahini is organising its 40th anniversary celebrations from December 21 to 25 at NTR Kala Mandiram in Telugu University here.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Samsrithika Bandhu Saripally Kondala Rao, Yuva Kalavahini president Y K Nageshwara Rao said the Vasireddy Seetha Devi Award would be presented to “Baahubali” film story writer Vijayendra Prasad; K Murahari Rao literary award would be given to lyricist Suddala Ashok Teja on December 21.
Swara Nirajanam to Bhanumathi-Anjali-Savithri and Yuva Kalavahini Life Time Achievement Award would be presented to veteran actor Thalluri Rameshwari on December 22. Yuva Kalavahini Life Time Achievement Award as part of Amara Gayani, Gayakula Aradhanotsavam program would go to singer Ravu Balasaraswathi Devi on December 23; Yuva Kalavahini life time achievement awards would be presented to Kuchipudi dance teacher Bhagavathula Sethuram, K V Sathyanarayana, Oleti Rangamani, P Ramadevi; Ramesh Naidu’s Cine Sangeetha Vibhavari would be held on December 25.
Tamil Nadu State Governor K Rosaiah, former Union Minister and eminent film director Dasari Narayana Rao, veteran director K Vishwanath, veteran actor Ranganath, Geethanjali, Chalapathi Rao, Vijay Chander, Thammareddy Bharadwaja, Uttej, Telangana State government advisor K V Ramana Chary, NTR Vignana Trust Chairman N Laxmi Parvathi, are expected to attend the programme on final day.
