The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has all the forensic evidence in the cash-for-the-vote scam but has not taken a decision on whether to file the supplementary chargesheet on TDP legislator Sandra Venkata Veeraiah or to add the other names that surfaced during investigations.

A source from the Anti-Corruption Bureau said that they are waiting for instructions from the top officials. The initial chargesheet in the case filed on July 28 had four persons including TDP legislator A Revanth Reddy. According to a report in an english daily, evidence in the cash-for-the-vote scam has been sent to ACB court.

The ACB recorded the statements of 39 witnesses but has failed to trace the source of the money as it was paid in cash. However, the strong evidence came in the form of cash that was seized in the presence of prime accused Revanth Reddy and the preliminary chargesheet was filed against him along with Bishop Harry Sebastian, Uday Simha and Jerusalem Mattaiah under PCA.

The agency failed to gather more evidence against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu even though his name is mentioned 22 times with the forensic report confirming the audio conversation between Anglo Indian nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson and Mr Naidu.
