AIKMS meetings begin today

The All India Kisan Mazdoor Sabha (AIKMS) began their meetings in Telangana in Armoor in the district. The meeting would be held for three days i.e. December 22, 23 and 24.

Nizamabad: The All India Kisan Mazdoor Sabha (AIKMS) began their meetings in Telangana in Armoor in the district. The meeting would be held for three days i.e. December 22, 23 and 24.

Addressing the media, AIKMS state general secretary Kechela Rangaiah, said that after the formation of Telangana State, the farmers and agriculture labourers faced severe problems like debt, high prices of seeds and fertilisers, lack of minimum support price, drought, water scarcity etc. All these issues would be discussed during the three days of meetings, he said.

Retired High Court Judge and ‘Telangana Farmers Joint Action Committee’ Chairman B Chandra Kumar, AIKMS central general secretary Sushanth Jhu, New Democracy State Secretariat Committee Member D V Krishna, AIKMS central treasurer Balachandra Shadangi, Illendu former MLA Gummadi Narsaiah, AIKMS State vice-president K G Ramchander, Sabha State Secretary V Prabhakar and others are participating in the meeting.

A huge rally is being taken out on December 22 from Agriculture market committee to Jambi Hanuman Mandir grounds.

On December 23, Prof K Nageshwar would be delivering speech on ‘Rulers Policies-Farmers Suicides’ at Nimmala Gardens. Rangaiah urged the farmers to participate in large number in the meetings and make it a success.
