Adilabad: Superintendent of Police Dr Tarun Joshi exhorted the police officials to be friendly with people in solving their problems. While receiving petitions from people at the district police headquarters here on Monday, the SP said that the district police officials should adopt latest technology efficiently in solving the criminal cases.
The investigation with the help of latest technology would help the police in establishing the crime in the judicial court, the SP said. The SP said that the police should work with dedication and professional integrity in discharging their duties. The police officers should do justice to the complainants in a transparent manner, he added.
He received petitions from 28 persons and issued instructions to the sub-inspectors of various police stations to solve the problems. Officials of complaint section Sivaji Chauhan and Jaiswal Kavita and camp clerk Ravinder Singh were present.
Meanwhile, M A Rehman, Deputy Superintendent of Police, assumed charge as the head of special branch on the premises of the police headquarters here on Monday. This is for the first time a DSP level official is appointed to head the special branch in the district. He took charge from Circle Inspector B Praveen.
Addressing newsmen, Rehman said that he would strive to put an end to corruption and strive to enhance working style of the police officials. SB inspector Praveen, SIs Nandana,MA Karim, Venkata Swamy, Anwar-ul-Haq, Pidugu Ranga Reddy, staff Devidas, Vithal, Prem Singh, Ravinder Reddy, Ravi and others were present.
