Eggs, tomatoes hurled at Danam

Congress party Hyderabad president Danam was attacked by his party activists in Uppal on Monday. According to reports, Danam Nagender along with his followers went to Uppal for the flag hoisting ceremony as part of the Congress Formation Day. But the party's Ranga Reddy unit president Kyama Mallesh Goud had already completed the ceremony and hoisted the flag.

However, Danam reportedly removed the flag and hoisted another flag at the same place. Mallesh Goud, who left the place before Danam arrived, was informed about it. He rushed to the spot along with his followers. They later chased away Danam and his followers and some even hurled eggs and tomatoes at them.
