With the Supreme Court rejecting to issue stay orders, political parties are gearing up for the upcoming GHMC elections. The State Election Commissioner V Nagi Reddy informed that once the Telangana government finalises reservation of wards, the election notification would be released that is most likely to be in the first week of January.
He further said that if the state government fails to finalize the list for reservation of wards, they would bring it to the notice of the High Court. The Election Commissioner added that elections would be conducted in 30 days after the release of notification.
