Mahbubnagar: District collector Dr T K Sridevi asked all the departments in the district to work with coordination to ensure that the TS-iPass is implemented without any delay through single window and help improve the industrial sector in the district.

While directing the district officials, the collector asked them to work hard to get the first place for Mahbubnagar in industries.

The collector said till now the Industries Department had received 233 applications for permissions to set up new industries in the district. Of these applications, about 215 applications have been cleared through single window and permissions have been granted to set new industries in the district.

Before giving the final nod to industries, the collector asked the officials to thoroughly go through each and every application in detail and study the facts and figures carefully. She also asked them to examine the facts in grass-root levels and ensure that there was no discrepancy and delay in granting permissions.

The collector also appreciated the work done by the officials for achieving second place for the district in Telangana in the ‘Digital India awards’ held in New Delhi.
