With New Year kicking in, people of both Telugu states welcomed the New Year with gaiety. While youngsters in the city celebrated the New Year in grand style, Hyderabad police looked into the security arrangements in Hyderabad.
Police Commissioner Mahender Reddy began the New Year celebrations by cutting the cake while Telangana irrigation minister Harish Rao celebrated the new year with with students of SMH hostel at Siddipet in Medak district and was seen cutting a cake on the occasion.
