As the political parties are gearing up for the upcoming GHMC elections, the State Election Commission (SEC) is expected to release the election schedule on Sunday. The reservation list for 150 divisions is likely to be submitted by the State government by Saturday evening following which State Election Commissioner V Nagi Reddy will be announcing the schedule.
According to the official sources, the GHMC elections are to be held on January 23. The SEC had earlier informed Hyderabad High Court that the GHMC elections would be held before January 31.
