Hyderabad: Justice P V Sanjay Kumar of the High Court at Hyderabad on Friday directed the Telangana State government to respond to a question regarding the eligibility of one Chandravathy to hold a post in the State Public Service Commission.

The judge was dealing with a petition filed by one M Balu of the city. J Sudheer, counsel for the petitioner, pointed out that the said post required a person to have impeccable character and inspire confidence among others.

The petitioner contended that Chandravathy was a known TRS activist and had criminal cases pending against her. The judge directed the government, TSPSC and Chandravathy to respond and adjourned the matter.
