Balkonda (Nizamabad): The Department of Animal Husbandry organised a free veterinary camp at Nalluru village in Balkonda mandal on Saturday.
Joint Director of the Department Yellanna addressing the meeting organised in this connection said that the veterinary camps which were being organised all over the district from December 30 to January 5 would provide free medicine to sheep and goats.
He said that the camps were being organised to cover nine lakh sheep and five lakh goats to administer medicine at a cost of Rs 30 lakh. Mandal parishad president A Radha, Balkonda veterinary doctor Santosh Reddy and others were present.
