District Congress Committee President Taher-Bin-Hamdan on Sunday condemned the allegations made by the Local Bodies Congress MLC candidate Venkatraman Reddy, and accused him of hobnobbing with the officials and members of the TRS and withdrew his nomination at their behest.

Nizamabad: District Congress Committee President Taher-Bin-Hamdan on Sunday condemned the allegations made by the Local Bodies Congress MLC candidate Venkatraman Reddy, and accused him of hobnobbing with the officials and members of the TRS and withdrew his nomination at their behest.
Speaking to the media at the DCC office in the town, Hamdan said that nobody asked --Vnkatramana Reddy to bring money and he intentionally come forward to contest in local bodies MLC elections. The district TRS leaders forced Venkata Ramana Reddy to withdraw his nomination.

DCC President questioned as to why Ramana Reddy was making wild allegations against the district congress committee leaders now though he kept quiet for over 15 days. Taher said that the Nizamabad DCC has urged the Telangana-PCC to take disciplinary action against Venkatramana Reddy and suspend him from the party for a period of six years.
