Speaking to the media in the town, he said that five acres of land were required for constructing 100 houses in the Balkonda mandal in the district.
He said that he was satisfied with the vacant land that was identified in Mallannagutta. The Joint Collector said that the last date for receiving applications from the beneficiaries for the houses was January 18. He told the officials to ensure that the application forms were available for the beneficiaries.
