Two youths killed by crocodiles
Two youths have reportedly been dragged and killed by crocodiles in a village tank at Gongulur village under Phulkal mandal in Medak district. The two incidents happened within a span of 12 hours.

The two incidents happened within a span of 12 hours. Reports from the village quoted village Sarpanch Sanjeevaiah as saying that Shiva Kumar (22) was dragged by a crocodile when he went to the tank for grazing the cattle.
When eight youths from the village tried to retrieve the body of Shiva Kumar, the crocodile attacked the group and dragged one more person, identified as Ramaswamy (30) into the water. Meanwhile, another report said Ramaswamy, who was Shiva Kumar’s brother-in-law, fell into the tank and drowned. Ramaswamy’s body was fished out and no injuries were found on his body.
