Karimnagar: Scores of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists staged a protest demonstration in front of the District Collectorate here on Thursday, demanding the State government to release the fee reimbursement amount.
They raised slogans against the government and the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, for neglecting the students, who played a vital role in the agitation for separate Telangana State. Jostling took place between the police and students when the later tried forceful entry into the Collectorate.
Cops used mild force to pacify the agitating activists. They arrested some of the student leaders and shifted them to police station.
