Hyderabad: Terming Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as a ‘political terrorist’, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka demanded that the State government explain on what basis the reservations were prepared for the GHMC wards.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday, Vikramarka welcomed the announcement of GHMC elections schedule, but found fault with the reservations announced by it. The government and election authorities had not given time to examine the reservations whether they were in scientific manner or not, he said.
“The government has the responsibility of explaining the system adopted in preparing reservations list,” he added. He also stated that the government did not announce the list of SC, ST, BC, Minorities and women voters list and it announced only total seats. “How did the government prepare the list of reservations without announcing SC, ST, BC, Minorities and women voters list?” he questioned.
Vikramarka said the TRS, which threatened the settlers in Hyderabad earlier, had changed its colour like a chameleon for the sake of settlers’ votes. The TRS leaders were wooing other party leaders with tainted money they earned through corrupt practices. “Attracting other political party leaders is nothing but political terrorism. Political terrorism is dangerous to the democracy,” he alleged.
