GHMC polls: TRS candidates list to be announced tomorrow

TRS is expected to announce the first list of candidates for the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections by Monday. The list is likely to have about 45-50 candidates and the party is said to have shortlisted the names of these candidates based survey reports conducted along with the party in-charges' inputs.

IT Minister KT Rama Rao stated that the criteria for choosing the candidate is his chances of winning the elections. The list would be finalised by TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao. According to reports, a heavy rush of aspirants has been witnessed at Telangana Bhavan and the TRS is likely to announce the names of the candidates in three phases.
