​Hyderabad: The Lok Satta Party on Saturday demanded that Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Rama Rao and others TRS Ministers should resign from their respective posts and campaign for the ensuing Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls.
Telangana Lok Satta Party president Dr Panduranga Rao citing the example of the then Panchayat Raj Minister, M Baga Reddy, who tendered his resignation in 1980 to work as an Election Agent for former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in Medak Constituency,
the Lok Satta leader challenged KTR to do the same and then canvass or he should keep himself away from the GHMC elections.
