CCTNS enables monitoring of all police stations
District Superintendent of Police Shahnawaz Qasim on Tuesday said that the police department was working hard to protect people and implement friendly policing.
Khammam: District Superintendent of Police Shahnawaz Qasim on Tuesday said that the police department was working hard to protect people and implement friendly policing.
In order to earn people’s trust, the police department was using the modern technology of CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System) to observe the working of various police stations and police staff and to also interact with the people coming to the police stations directly from the district headquarters, the SP said.
With the CCTNS project, all the police stations are connected through internet. Every complaint which is filed in any police station will be uploaded directly. It would be highly useful to know the problems of the people and to solve them in an easy manner, said SP Shahnawaz Qasim.
He ordered the police staff members working in various police stations to behave in a polite manner with the people who were coming to the police station to register complaints.
Shahnawaz also said that they were answerable to the public on every issue they have been facing in the society. “We are going to use modern technology by taking suggestions from the people on how the police must behave with them to solve their problems,” he said.
