Two injured in mishap
Two persons sustained serious injuries when an autorickshaw hit their motorcycle at Karepalli on Thursday. According to SI Ravi Kumar, Togara Navin and his friend Sodasala Srikant of Khammam came to Karepalli to call on Togara Harish.

The trio were returning from Illendu to Karepalli on bike when a speeding autorickshaw hit their vehicle. The legs of both Navin and Srikant were broken in the mishap. However, the 108 ambulance vehicle which came to take them could accommodate only one of them.
The other one was left on the road with first aid. Later, another ambulance took him also to the hospital. The SI said that the auto rickshaw driver fled the spot after the accident. A case was registered and investigation is on.
