Karimangar: Basanthnagar police on Saturday conducted raids in two stone quarrying offices for operating the stone crushing activities without taking valid permission near Jayyaram village in the district and arrested two supervisors. They seized explosive material.
Around 500 gelatine sticks, four compressors, two bags of ammonia and two autorickshaws were seized. Quarry supervisors Dama Srinivas and Satroju were taken into custody. Bayyapur Surender Reddy and Ramana Reddy were the owners of the
quarries.
