PIL on structures on Necklace Road shifted to new bench
The two judge PIL bench of the High Court comprising of Acting Chief Justice Dilip B Bhosale and Justice S V Bhatt on Monday posted before another bench petitions questioning illegal constructions in and around the Necklace Road near Sanjeevaiah Park.

Forum for a Better Hyderabad and another had filed independent public interest petitions questioning construction of Neckless Road Railway Station and other such activities around the Hussain Sagar Lake. They also questioned the Narashima Rao Ghat near Sanjeevaiah Park.
The Apex Court had directed the matter to be heard at length by the High Court. However, when the matter came up for hearing Justice S V Bhatt recused himself from hearing the matter as he was a counsel for pollution control board which is party to the present petition.
