Lovers commit suicide
Lovers committed suicide by consuming pesticides at Akkinepally village in Narketpally Mandal in the district after their families strongly disapproved their love affair and refused permission for marriage as they belonged to different castes.
Nalgonda: Lovers committed suicide by consuming pesticides at Akkinepally village in Narketpally Mandal in the district after their families strongly disapproved their love affair and refused permission for marriage as they belonged to different castes.
Going into details, Ramesh, an auto driver, who was a resident of Domalapalli village in Narketpally Mandal in the district, was in love with an Intermediate student Prasanna, who also belonged to the same village. But, their parents objected to their marriage proposal.
Vexed with the adamant attitude of their elders, the lovers reached Konerugattu (a hill shrine) and reportedly consumed pesticide on Monday night. The local people noticed their bodies on Tuesday morning and informed the Narketpally police station.
The police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to the government hospital in Nalgonda for postmortem. A case was filed and investigation is on.
