Warangal: An engineering student called N Deepika Reddy, 21, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her residence at Gopalapuram village of Hanamkonda mandal in the early hours of Saturday.
She was studying B Tech (CSE) final year at a private engineering college at Singapuram village of Huzurabad mandal in Karimnagar district. According to her parents Surender Reddy and Jyothi, their daughter was aspiring to study abroad and appeared for IELTS examination recently. She was upset for scoring less in the test, they said. The KU police station booked a case in connection with the incident.
