Select loan beneficiaries through lucky dip: CPM
Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPI-M on Thursday urged the District Collector to select the beneficiaries for subsidised loans under SC, ST, BC and Minority Corporations through lucky dip system to prevent the political intervention.
Nizamabad: Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPI-M on Thursday urged the District Collector to select the beneficiaries for subsidised loans under SC, ST, BC and Minority Corporations through lucky dip system to prevent the political intervention.
CPI (M) district secretary Dandi Venkat and party leaders Sabbani Latha, Ramesh Babu, Venkat Goud gave a memorandum to District Collector Yogita Rana regarding the same.
Dandi Venkat 4,545 units of loans would be given under various corporations in 2016-17 financial year. Nearly 21,156 aspirants applied for the loan in Nizamabad district from many mandals.
He said in many districts, the collectors are finalising the list to prevent the political intervention from selecting genuine candidates. He requested Yogita Rana to select the beneficiaries in Nizamabad district also in similar manner.
