Governor ESL Narasimhan on Thursday summoned Telangana Director General of Police Anurag Sharma and Hyderabad Police Commissioner M Mahender Reddy, a day after all-opposition leaders from Telangana met him and complained about the attack on them by AIMIM activists who were led by MP Assaduddi Owaisi during Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections in the city.
Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan on Thursday summoned Telangana Director General of Police Anurag Sharma and Hyderabad Police Commissioner M Mahender Reddy, a day after all-opposition leaders from Telangana met him and complained about the attack on them by AIMIM activists who were led by MP Assaduddi Owaisi during Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections in the city.
The top cops are said to have spent about an hour with the Governor and gave a detailed report over the incidents that had taken place on the day of polling and the action the police had initiated.
