Nalgonda: Praja Porata Samithi president Nune Venkata Swamy on Friday demanded that the State government take adequate measures to ensure that National Highway No 565 does not pass through Nalgonda town and instead, take up the construction of a bypass road to avoid the displacement of families.
Along with the families who are likely to be displaced, Nune Venakata Swamy met the Nalgonda RDO and submitted a memorandum in this regard.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that 10 km of the distance would be reduced due to the bypass road which would also avoid dismantling of 20 government offices, 12 temples, four masjids and four churches.
