About 2708 school students lighting up the lamps in 30 seconds and performing traditional dance nonstop for 30 minutes and 30 seconds have created two earned them a unique place in the Genius Book of Records, here on Sunday.
​Mahbubnagar: About 2708 school students lighting up the lamps in 30 seconds and performing traditional dance nonstop for 30 minutes and 30 seconds have created two earned them a unique place in the Genius Book of Records, here on Sunday.
Two records were created in this event. While the first record was created for lighting up of the lamps, the second one was for nonstop dancing. The students of J S Dance Academy at Nirmala Vidyalaya of Kalwakurthy were instrumental in creating this record.
The India coordinator of Genius Book, Narendra Goud supervised the event and declared the feat a world record. He announced the inclusion of the name of the event choreographer Shekar in the records book and presented him with a memento and a world record certificate.
