The Joint Collector conducted a meeting with the cable operators at his chamber in the District Collectorate here on Wednesday. The Joint Collector said that as per the TRAI directions, the cable operators should convert to digital signals and stop the analog signals after February 29.

In the second phase of digitization of cable TV signals, the cable TV signals must be digital in Nalgonda, Suryapet, Bhongir, Devarakonda, Miryalaguda, Vijayapuri, Chandur and Huzoornagar after February 29, he insisted.

The JC said that the price of the set-top box must be printed on it and the cable operator should give a receipt to the customers, who purchase them.
