Warangal: The district TDP leaders took serious exception to the letter reportedly written by the party MLA, E Dayakar Rao, asking the Speaker to merge TDLP into TRSLP. TDP district president Gandra Satyanarayana Rao, senior leaders Revuri Prakash Reddy and Seetakka have described the letter given by Dayakar Rao as an immoral act.

They described him as a traitor, who was out to damage the party after getting benefitted from it and growing politically. Satyanarayana Rao said both Dayakar Rao and Kadiyam Srihari while in TDP have misled the party chief, N Chandrababu Naidu, regarding separate Telangana movement. They damaged the party to pursue their personal agenda.

They both exploited the party and destroyed the political careers of numerous hardworking leaders, mainly youth in the TDP denying them the tickets in elections. Now they were both were out of TDP and would be a good sign for those working hard for the party, he added.

Prakash Reddy said Dayakar Rao was a ration shop dealer, who was made the MLA by the party and was made its politburo member. It was disgraceful and foolish on his part that he was seeking merger of TDP into the TRS, saying one third of TDP MLAs joined the latter. ‘He should know the law even if 100 percent MLAs change their loyalty to join other party, it comes under Anti-defection Act. If there any coverts like Dayakar Rao they should all now leave the party,’ he added.
