As Union Minister for Urban Development and senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu's Rajya Sabha term is coming to an end in June, speculation is refusing to die that the TRS party is mulling the idea of offering a Rajya Sabha seat to the Union Minister.
It is learnt that Venkaiah Naidu has not received any assurance from any state to offer him Rajya Sabha seat for next term including AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. However, sources inform that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is said to have offered the seat to Venkaiah Naidu hoping that the government will have cordial relations with Centre.
The speculation triggered post KCR's recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the latter’s residence in New Delhi.
