Byreddy is BJP’s new district president
Byreddy Prabhakar Reddy has been elected as BJP Khammam district president unanimously on Wednesday. The election was necessitated after incumbent Kondapalli Sridhar Reddy completed his three year term as the district unit president. Byreddy, who hails from Paloncha town is an advocate and held the post of district general secretary before he was elevated to the current position.

Byreddy, who hails from Paloncha town is an advocate and held the post of district general secretary before he was elevated to the current position.
Speaking on the occasion, Byreddy said that he would strive hard for the growth of the party. He expressed confidence that BJP would clinch the Khammam Corporation with a concerted effort of the party activists. Training guns against the TRS government, he accused the ruling party of encouraging defections from other parties rather than focusing on issues faced by the people in the State.
“The BJP will try to exert pressure on TRS by building people’s movement against the government’s anti-people policies,” Byreddy said. He thanked BJP State president G Kishan Reddy and all the party leaders for giving him the opportunity to serve for the party. BJP State treasurer Manohar Reddy, party’s election observer Padmaja Reddy, senior leaders G Satyanarayana, G Vidyasagar were among others present at the meeting which was presided over by the outgoing district president Kondapalli Sridhar Reddy. Byreddy has hitherto worked in different capacities from the ranks of ABVP.
