The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA), J Raymond Peter told the district officials that the Bhoobharathi Pilot Project Survey Records should be completed within a few days and the records should be transferred to the revenue department.

Nizamabad: The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA), J Raymond Peter told the district officials that the Bhoobharathi Pilot Project Survey Records should be completed within a few days and the records should be transferred to the revenue department. On Friday, he visited the Arepally village of Dichpally mandal in the district along with the District Collector Yogita Rana and other officials to review the works pertaining to the project.

Speaking on the occasion, the CCLA said that after completing the survey project, details pertaining to various departments like Revenue, Roads & Buildings, Panchayati-Raj, Environment and Forests and others could be made available online with lot of accuracy. He said that Bhoobharati was a pilot project in the country, in which areal and physical surveys could be conducted and an accurate data bank of lands could be created.

He said it was a good project but going on at a snail’s pace due to negligence. Raymond Peter said that this project was started in 2005 and a survey was conducted for three years till 2008, survey completed in 914 villages and pending at documentation, it is final stage. He said that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao directed them to conduct this survey in all Telangana districts.

CCLA said now they were taking measures to collect data to the revenue records collected through the Bhoobharathi project after getting accurate records of lands. He said government would provide all the land records through the ‘Maa Bhoomi’ Portal and if the farmers wanted to information on their land records, they should send the survey number through mobile and obtain details through an SMS.

Later, Raymond Peter told the revenue officials to speed up the Bhoobharathi Pilot project works in Nizamabad district, which were pending for the last ten years. He requested the officials to work with discipline and follow rules and punctuality in their duties. District Collector Yogita Rana said that farmers should obtain their land records through Mee-Seva and they should avoid the intermediaries in the revenue department.

With this, the survey farmers should obtain 100% genuine records, in future farmers receive satisfactory services, the District Collector added. The Bhoobharati Joint Director Devadas, DRO Mohanlal, RDOs Shyamprasad lal, Yadi Reddi, Nagesh, Tahasildars and DTs were present on the occasion.
