Safety Convention 2016 held at NTPC
The Second Contracting Agency’s Safety Circles Convention-2016 was organised at NTPC on Friday. As many as 27 safety circles from different contracting agencies participated in the convention organised by the NTPC safety department. They presented their safety innovations/suggestions carried out by them at work place.

They presented their safety innovations/suggestions carried out by them at workplace.
Based on their performance, the jury team adjudged Rasayan safety circle of Md Sirajauddin working in Chemistry Department as the first, while Sankalap safety circle working in MGR Department and Ujwala safety circle working in CHP Electrical Maintenance Department were declared second and third respectively.
Six consolation prizes went to Safety Circles like Suraksha (Srinivas General Engineering), Ganesh (Ind Well), Durga Mata (Friends Engineering), Vignesh (A Rajesham), U Tech (United Rubber) and Star (Bobby Erectors).
Participating as the chief guest in the closing ceremony, General Manager (O&M), NTPC, Ram Kuber emphasised on the importance of improving safety at work place and advised to form more numbers of safety circles to inflow more innovative ideas and suggestions. This would help Ramagundam to be a safe place to work, he added.
