Birkur (Nizamabad): District coordinator of the South Asia Consortium of Interdisciplinary Water Studies SaciWaters Sayeelu said that people’s health was getting affected by drinking polluted water.
Addressing an awareness camp on clean drinking water and hygiene in the Birkur mandal headquarters in the district on Saturday, he advised the people to drink only purified water and construct lavatories or toilets at home.
SaciWaters community mobiliser Swapna and others were present on the occasion.
