Helicopter joy rides inaugurated in Hyderabad

Telangana IT, Municipal Administration and Panchayat Raj Minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday formally inaugurated the helicopter rides at Necklace Road. The people of Hyderabad who got to have a joyous ride of hot air balloons in December will now be able to enjoy helicopter rides.

The Aerial trip of the Hyderabad city - ‘Heli Tourism in Hyderabad’ is an enterprise started by Indwell Aviation Private Limited where one can have a 10-15 minutes joy ride through the city that will cost Rs 3,500 per person. Speaking after the launch, KTR hoped that the initiative is appreciated by the people and is made a success as it is enjoyable, also affordable.

If the government receives a positive response for the initiative, similar services are planned at other places such as Nagarjuna Sagar, Karimnagar, Warangal, along Godavari river and Nallamalla forest.
