Cancel TET, issue DSC notification, demands PDSU
The members of Progressive Democratic Student Union (PDSU) on Saturday demanded that the Stage government should cancel the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) and conduct the DSC examination immediately.
Nizamabad: The members of Progressive Democratic Student Union (PDSU) on Saturday demanded that the Stage government should cancel the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) and conduct the DSC examination immediately.
The students organised a rally from Nirmala Hrudaya High School to Collectorate and staged a sit-in protest at District Collectorate to highlight their demands. Later, they submitted a memorandum to the officials.
Speaking on the occasion, PDSU City President Kalpana demanded that the State government should immediately cancel the TET examination and issue notification for DSC examination.
Kalpana said that lakhs of students, who have completed D.Ed and B.Ed, were waiting for DSC notification, but the State government was delaying the process. She said that the intellectuals were suggesting that TET exam was not required for selecting teachers.
