Fire mishap in Musheerabad
Property worth lakhs of rupees was gutted in a major fire mishap at a house at Musheerabad on Monday night. The mishap resulted in power shut down to two colonies for three hours.
Hyderabad: Property worth lakhs of rupees was gutted in a major fire mishap at a house at Musheerabad on Monday night. The mishap resulted in power shut down to two colonies for three hours.
According to sources, the fire accident was suspected to be due to short circuit in the house of one Mohammed Irshad, a businessman. The three women occupants in the house rushed out screaming for help and fire tenders reached the spot within minutes.
Some locals ventured into the house and brought out the LPG cylinder to averte further damage. All electronic goods, clothes and other wooden material in the house worth over lakhs of rupees were gutted in the fire.
On receiving information, the Musheerabad police called for two fire engines and after struggling for about three hours, the fire brigadiers put off flames. Musheerabad SI B Bhaskar Rao along with clues team officials inspected the area and registered a case for probe.
