Counting of votes for civic polls today
Counting of votes for Warangal and Khammam Municipal Corporation elections will be held on Wednesday. Counting of votes will take place at Enumamula market in Warangal for Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation. For Khammam Municipal Corporation, counting will be held at the Cotton Market Yard in Khammam.
Warangal/Khammam: Counting of votes for Warangal and Khammam Municipal Corporation elections will be held on Wednesday. Counting of votes will take place at Enumamula market in Warangal for Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation. For Khammam Municipal Corporation, counting will be held at the Cotton Market Yard in Khammam.
The process will start at 8 am. Results are expected within two hours of counting. With their fate firmly sealed in the electronic voting machines (EVMs), the candidates in the fray are waiting with bated breath. As far Khammam Municipal Corporation elections, though the TRS party is riding high on the crest of recent victories, it is also keeping its fingers crossed over the outcome. The Opposition party leaders seem not much overawed by the situation especially with the past history showing that never a ruling party in the State was at the helm of affairs of the Khammam municipality.
