GHMC officials inspect AOC road alignment works
Following the directive of Telangana government, GHMC Commissioner Dr. B Janardhan Reddy, along with senior officials from Engineering Wing and Military officials, inspected the AOC area and the road alignment that has been taken up by the corporation. The GHMC has completed the detailed survey of 2.86-km long road inside AOC premises.

Hyderabad: Following the directive of Telangana government, GHMC Commissioner Dr. B Janardhan Reddy, along with senior officials from Engineering Wing and Military officials, inspected the AOC area and the road alignment that has been taken up by the corporation. The GHMC has completed the detailed survey of 2.86-km long road inside AOC premises.
According to Janardhan Reddy, the AOC road originates from Safilguda level crossing and joins at Marredpally Road. The detailed estimate is under finalisation. After the inspection, which lasted for about three hours, the officials held a coordination meeting at Commandant’s Office.
The Commissioner said discussions were held with the AOC officials and a detailed report, after few processes, would be placed before the government for further action. However, the State government is yet to obtain permission to conduct survey from Ramakrishnapuram Bridge to Safilguda Railway Gate (1.7 km) from the Ministry of Defence.
As per the recently concluded GHMC survey report (February 25, 2016 ), army allowed survey for only the alternative road connecting Safilguda to Allahabad Gate but not the another important alternative for connecting R.K.Puram fly over to Safilguda Rly gate which GHMC intend to develop.
The Commissioner enquired about the route of alternative for connecting R.K.Puram fly over to Safilguda Rly gate with army officials. Brigadier Negi, Colonel Ajay Katoch, Colonel Sandeep Vinayak, Commandant Brigadier Dalip Singh, Project Chief Engineer Imtiaz Ahmed and other officials participated in the inspection.
