TRS continues winning streak in Warangal and Khammam civic polls

The ruling TRS continued its winning streak in the major municipal corporation elections in the state - Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation and Khammam Municipal Corporation and Achampet municipality as it bagged all the three elections.

While TRS won Warangal and Khammam with a huge majority, Achampet municipality in Mahbubnagar district was a complete victory. The counting of votes took place on Wednesday in Warangal, Khammam municipal corporations and Achampet municipality. In Warangal, TRS won 44 out of 58 seats while in Khammam, the party grabbed 34 seats and Achampet municipality was a clean sweep by winning all the 20 wards.
