Kakatiya University Library and Information Science department is organising a two-day workshop on ‘Information Literacy and Scholarly Publishing’ on March 19 and 20, in collaboration with Academy of Library Science and Documentation, Hyderabad.
Warangal: Kakatiya University Library and Information Science department is organising a two-day workshop on ‘Information Literacy and Scholarly Publishing’ on March 19 and 20, in collaboration with Academy of Library Science and Documentation, Hyderabad.
The workshop Director and Department Head, B Radhika Rani said this workshop would cover identifying quality and authoritative resources on the web, effective use of open access resources, search strategies and retrieval methods, use of databases, citation styles, plagiarism and intellectual property rights and copyright.
Experts from Library and Information Science field would deliver lectures apart from hands-on experience, she explained. The workshop would be useful to faculty, research scholars and library science professionals.
