Highest temperature touches 40 Celsius
Adilabad, Bhadrachalam, Medak, Nizamabad and Ramagundam recorded the day’s highest temperature of 40 degrees Celsius during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 a.m. on Saturday. There was no large change in the day temperature in Telangana and remained appreciably above normal at few places.

The other temperatures recorded in the State were 39 degrees Celsius at Hanamkonda and Mahbubnagar, 38 degrees at Hyderabad and 37 degrees at Khammam, Hakimpet and Nalgonda. The lowest was recorded in Adilabad at 21 degrees Celsius.
The other recordings were 23 at Hakimpet and Nalgonda, 24 at Bhadrachalam, Hanamkonda, Medak and Khammam, 25 at Nizamabad, Ramagundam and Mahbubnagar and 26 at Hyderabad. The Met office on Saturday forecast light to moderate rain or thundershower at isolated places during the next four days.
