Singer Madhupriya's marriage in troubled waters?

Noted folk singer Madhupriya's marriage is under troubled waters after the singer filed a complaint against her husband Srikanth in Humayun Nagar police station on Saturday morning. It is reported that Srikanth had attacked her parents on the same day at their residence in Uppal and had threatened them with dire consequences for filing a harassment case.

Singer Madhupriya who married Srikanth against the wishes of her parents in the month of October last year in a wedding that was widely publicised in the media has now filed a harassment case against her husband. Speaking to the reporters, Madhupriya said that for the initial three months, everything went well but later he kept torturing her for money and dowry. While Madhupriya showed bruises on her body as evidence of her husband's violence against her, Srikanth, on the other hand, condemned the allegations of Madhupriya and stated that she was falsely accusing him.

Srikanth even stated that he had visited Madhupriya's parents house as they had called him to solve the issues between the couple but instead was beaten up.
