Vijayawada accident: KCR orders assistance for the injured students

In the wake of the road accident that took five lives including that of four students from Osmania Medical College in Gollapudi near Vijayawada, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao ordered all the possible assistance and medical help for the students injured in the mishap.

KCR conveyed his condolences to the parents of those who were killed in the accident and also directed Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy to ensure that the students are provided all the medical help. The road accident killed four medical students and a driver when the bus they were travelling hit a road divider and collided with a tree. 20 other medical students sustained injuries with two students' condition said to be critical.
